Brief
Montsoriu, La llegenda de Sant Joan is a card game created by Aniol Pujolras, a lover of history and board games. It represents the legend of the Castell de Montsoriu, the most important Gothic castle in Catalonia. An experience that catches you.
After several years with the same image, Aniol decided to give the game a different design. Thanks to the collaboration of the great illustrator Eva R. Vilà, we managed to create a game with a unique personality, with instructions translated into several languages and with an iconography that makes gameplay much easier.
Process
Eva and I had to play several games to understand the method of the game, because it is a path full of surprises and changes of direction. After becoming experts, we proceeded to create the illustrations and generate the instruction guide.
Finally, we designed the packaging taking into account its functionality and we carried out a Verkami campaign to promote the game. It was a complete success and we achieved to sell all the units!
